Human Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 19 (KRT19) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 19 (KRT19) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. KRT19 is described as a key protein involved in maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial cells and tissues, and its aberrant expression has been linked to cancer, liver cirrhosis, and inflammatory disorders.

Detection is colorimetric with a range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 8.14 pg/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.8%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with average recovery of 96% in serum and 98% in plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human KRT19 and is intended for research use only.
