KCNN3 encodes SK3, a small-conductance calcium-activated potassium channel that shapes neuronal afterhyperpolarization and regulates firing frequency. Assay Genie's ELISA-based quantitative immunoassay enables researchers to measure circulating SK3 levels, supporting investigations into channelopathies, neuropharmacology, and smooth muscle physiology.

The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-enzyme conjugate, calibration standards, wash buffer, and substrate. A 100 µL sample aliquot is added to each well, followed by sequential incubations with detector and conjugate. Reconstituted reagents tolerate multiple freeze-thaw cycles when aliquoted and stored at -20 °C; the working conjugate should be protected from light to preserve enzymatic activity.
