Human Kallikrein-9 (KLK9) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the accurate measurement of Kallikrein-9 (KLK9) levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. Kallikrein-9 is a kallikrein-related serine protease involved in physiological processes such as inflammation and tissue remodeling, and elevated KLK9 levels have been associated with certain diseases including prostate cancer and inflammatory conditions. The kit uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and is reactive with human samples. It detects both natural and recombinant human Kallikrein-9 (UniProt Q9UKQ9), targeting the secreted subcellular form of the protein. Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.423 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.5%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.9%.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16: serum (N=5) showed 105–114%, 114–124%, 99–110%, and 109–119% respectively; EDTA plasma (N=5) showed 95–104%, 81–91%, 101–111%, and 101–113%; and heparin plasma (N=5) showed 102–111%, 86–98%, 89–99%, and 101–101%. Recovery averaged 103% in serum (range 97–109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99–111%).
