Human Kallikrein-5 (KLK5) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Kallikrein-5 (KLK5) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is specific for both natural and recombinant human KLK5.

KLK5 is a secreted serine protease that has been linked to skin desquamation, inflammation and tissue remodelling, with dysregulated expression reported in dermatological conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and skin cancer. The kit offers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.079 ng/mL, with reported intra-assay and inter-assay coefficients of variation of 6.1% and 10.2% respectively.
