Human Kallikrein 4 (KLK4) ELISA Kit

Kallikrein 4 (KLK4) is a secreted serine protease of the tissue kallikrein family that has been characterized in prostate epithelium, the developing enamel matrix, and at altered levels in several epithelial malignancies. The Assay Genie product for human KLK4 is a 96-assay quantitative immunoassay built around paired monoclonal antibodies directed against distinct epitopes of the KLK4 molecule. Each kit ships with a capture-antibody-coated microplate, recombinant human KLK4 calibrators, a biotinylated detector antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, chromogenic substrate, and stop solution. Researchers run a calibration curve in parallel with samples, develop the substrate reaction, and interpolate KLK4 concentration from the resulting absorbance values. The assay is applied to biomarker discovery, in vitro cell-line expression profiling, and clinical studies of patient-matched circulating blood specimens, supporting prostate, breast, and ovarian oncology research as well as mechanistic investigations of enamel biomineralization.
