Human Kallikrein-10 (KLK10) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Kallikrein-10 (KLK10) in human biological samples. KLK10, also known as kallikrein-related peptidase 10 and by the synonyms NES1, PRSSL1, Normal epithelial cell-specific 1, and Protease serine-like 1, is a secreted serine protease (UniProt O43240) that has been studied for a tumor-suppressor role for NES1 in breast and prostate cancer.

The kit is reactive with human samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, detecting natural and recombinant human Kallikrein-10. According to the manufacturer, the detection range is 0.625–40 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity has been characterized in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery in serum averages 100% (range 94–106%) and in plasma averages 102% (range 96–108%).

For research use only, the assay is performed on a microplate read at 450 nm and requires standard laboratory equipment such as multichannel pipettes and an incubator.
