Human Juxtanodin (JN) ELISA Kit

Juxtanodin (JN), also known as JXTN or the protein product of the C8orf49 gene, is a cytoskeletal-associated protein that localizes to paranodal junctions in myelinating Schwann cells and has been implicated in oligodendrocyte differentiation in the central nervous system. This colorimetric kit from Assay Genie uses a microplate pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody, supporting quantitative measurements in tissue homogenates and cell lysates from neural and tumor-derived samples. The protocol uses a 100 µL sample volume per well, with a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP for signal generation. The kit is intended for research use only in studies of peripheral nerve myelination, glial cell biology, and cytoskeletal remodeling during tumor cell migration.
