Human JNK1/MAPK8 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human JNK1/MAPK8 in biological samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported recovery ranges are 88–103% for serum (average 97%), 86–96% for EDTA plasma (average 91%), and 89–104% for heparin plasma (average 95%). Linearity in serum was 88–99% at 1:2, 88–95% at 1:4, and 87–97% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma 85–101%, 84–101%, and 91–100%; and in heparin plasma 88–93%, 89–95%, and 83–94%. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

JNK (c-Jun N-terminal kinase) is a signaling molecule involved in apoptosis, inflammation, and stress response, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. The kit targets the MAPK8 / JNK1 protein (UniProt P45983), with synonyms including PRKM8, SAPK1, JNK-46, and mitogen-activated protein kinase 8.
