Quantitative immunoassay reagents from Assay Genie for measuring Juxtaposed with another zinc finger protein 1 (JAZF1) in human specimens. JAZF1 is a zinc finger transcriptional regulator originally identified at the t(7;17) chromosomal breakpoint in endometrial stromal tumors, where it forms a fusion product with the SUZ12 polycomb gene. The protein has also been investigated in metabolic disease research for its role in hepatic gluconeogenesis, lipid handling, and adipose tissue function, and single-nucleotide polymorphisms near the JAZF1 locus have been associated with type 2 diabetes susceptibility in published genome-wide studies.

The kit is supplied as a 96-assay microplate configuration intended for in vitro research use only. It is configured for laboratory workflows interrogating JAZF1 levels in human sample matrices, with readout on a standard microplate reader. Reagents should be handled according to the enclosed insert; store kit components refrigerated between runs and protect the substrate from light to preserve activity. Reconstituted standards and detection antibody should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.

Each package contains a pre-coated microplate, recombinant protein standards, biotinylated detection antibody, assay diluent, concentrated wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution. The reagents support research into transcription factor biology, tumor biology linked to the JAZF1-SUZ12 rearrangement, and metabolic disease pathways. Working vials are configured for single use to minimize cross-contamination between experimental runs.
