Human Janus Kinase 2 (JAK2) ELISA Kit

JAK2 (Janus Kinase 2) is a cytoplasmic non-receptor tyrosine kinase of approximately 130 kDa that couples type I cytokine receptors to the JAK-STAT signaling cascade, transmitting signals from erythropoietin, thrombopoietin, and other hematopoietic cytokines. The Assay Genie kit supports quantitative measurement of JAK2 protein in tissue homogenates and cell lysates using a microplate-based protocol requiring a 50 µL sample volume, calibrated against purified standards. Investigators studying myeloproliferative neoplasms commonly apply this ELISA to monitor expression of wild-type JAK2 and constitutively active mutants such as V617F, which drive polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and primary myelofibrosis.
