Human ITLN2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Intelectin-2 (ITLN2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection, with a reported sensitivity of 3.75 ng/mL and a working range of 6.25–400 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for up to 12 months under those conditions.

Performance characteristics were validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, linearity ranged from 81% to 105% depending on matrix, while spiked recovery ranged from 86% to 105% with matrix averages of 93% (EDTA plasma), 97% (heparin plasma) and 98% (serum). The procedure involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB color development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer (25X), stop solution, plate sealers, and a technical manual.

Intelectin-2 has been implicated in immune regulation and inflammatory responses, with altered levels linked to inflammatory diseases, metabolic disorders and cancer, supporting its use as a research biomarker.
