Description

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the quantitative measurement of integrin alpha 9 (ITGA9) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay offers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Integrin alpha 9 is a component of cell adhesion processes and has been implicated in inflammation, tissue regeneration, and cancer metastasis. The kit supports research into cancer biology, immune response modulation, and tissue remodeling by enabling consistent measurement of this protein across a variety of sample matrices. Linearity has been demonstrated for serum (90–100%, 85–95%, 85–105% at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively), EDTA plasma (94–98%, 83–92%, 91–97%), and heparin plasma (84–98%, 81–99%, 80–92%). Recovery ranges are 86–104% (average 97%) for serum, 90–96% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 93–105% (average 98%) for heparin plasma.

The procedure includes equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after the addition of stop solution. Components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, and a technical manual. The kit is listed under the Uniprot identifier Q13797 and is associated with Cell Biology research. Synonyms include ITGA9, ITGA4L, RLC-alpha, ALPHA-RLC, integrin alpha-9, Integrin alpha-RLC, and integrin alpha 9.
