Assay Genie's Human Islet-1 (ISL-1) PharmaGenie ELISA kit is a quantitative immunoassay built around the ISL-1 transcription factor, a LIM-homeodomain protein studied for its role in pancreatic islet cell differentiation, motor neuron specification, and cardiac outflow tract development. The assay is calibrated for human ISL-1 detection and is used in research workflows investigating endocrine pancreas biology, neural crest-derived lineages, and developmental gene regulation.

Each kit supports 96 individual determinations read on a standard absorbance microplate reader, with all required reagents supplied in a ready-to-run format. Acceptable sample inputs include cell culture supernatant as well as plasma and serum specimens collected for biomarker studies. The kit is commonly applied to monitor ISL-1 expression in differentiated stem cell cultures, characterize engineered pancreatic beta-cell lines, and probe circulating ISL-1 levels in cardiovascular and diabetes-related research programs.

Reagents should be stored refrigerated upon arrival, with the recommendation to aliquot and freeze unused reconstituted components to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. The plate is provided as a single-use strip-well microplate sealed in a foil pouch, and conjugate, standard, and buffer vials are packaged to support a complete experimental run.

Suited to academic and pharmaceutical research laboratories studying transcription factor biomarkers, this Assay Genie kit fits routine ELISA workflows and supports data generation for publications, screening campaigns, and assay development projects focused on the human ISL-1 protein.
