Human IRS2/Insulin receptor substrate 2 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human IRS2 (Insulin Receptor Substrate 2) in serum and plasma samples. The kit uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format with absorbance read at 450 nm, and is intended for research applications relating to the insulin signaling pathway, including studies of metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity, as well as certain cancers where IRS2 dysregulation is implicated.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported assay performance includes a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a standard curve range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. Spiked recovery in serum averages 90% (range 85–99%), in EDTA plasma averages 97% (range 92–104%), and in heparin plasma averages 90% (range 85–96%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 86–105% in serum, 90–104% in EDTA plasma and 82–104% in heparin plasma. Reconstituted and unopened kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with selected components also suitable for 12-month storage at −20°C.
