Human IREB2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for quantitative measurement of IREB2 (Iron-Responsive Element Binding Protein 2) in human biological samples. IREB2 is a key regulatory protein that controls expression of genes involved in cellular iron uptake and storage, and its dysregulation has been linked to anemia, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer.

The kit uses a colorimetric double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Storage is 2-8°C for 12 months.

Reported linearity at 1:2 dilution spans 91-102% for serum, 82-100% for EDTA plasma, and 80-98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averages are 96% (serum), 92% (EDTA plasma), and 95% (heparin plasma). The standard protocol includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
