Human Interleukin 5 (IL-5) ELISA Kit

Quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-5 (IL-5) in research samples is supported by this Assay Genie enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit, widely used in immunology and inflammation research to study eosinophil differentiation, Th2-driven cytokine responses, and related disease models such as asthma, helminth infection, and hypereosinophilic syndromes. The kit supports profiling of IL-5 release from activated Th2 cells, mast cells, eosinophils, and cultured cell lines.

The 96-assay microplate is pre-coated with a monoclonal capture antibody specific for native and recombinant human IL-5. Standards and unknown samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. After chromogenic substrate development and stop solution, absorbance readings are taken on a standard microplate reader and IL-5 concentrations are interpolated from the standard curve generated from the supplied recombinant reference material.

Kit components include a pre-coated assay microplate, lyophilized recombinant human IL-5 reference standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP working solution, concentrated wash buffer, assay and dilution buffers, TMB substrate, and stop reagent. Unopened components should be stored refrigerated; reconstituted standards and working dilutions should be aliquoted and frozen to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The kit is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic procedures.
