This two-antibody immunoassay from Assay Genie is built for quantitative measurement of human Interleukin-34 (IL-34) in human-derived research samples including cell culture supernatant, serum samples, and plasma samples collected from experimental cohorts. The kit supports investigations of macrophage differentiation, osteoclast biology, and inflammatory cytokine signaling, since IL-34 signals through the CSF-1 receptor (CD115) and shares overlapping but functionally distinct roles with CSF-1/M-CSF.

Each kit provides 96 assays and ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, standard diluent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, chromogenic substrate, and stop reagent. A 100 µL sample volume is loaded per well, and optical density is captured with a standard endpoint microplate reader after chromogenic development.

Validation data shows intra-assay precision CV typically below 8% and inter-assay CV below 10%. Reconstituted standards and samples should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles; store the unopened kit refrigerated at 4°C and keep the chromogenic substrate protected from light. Allow all reagents to reach room temperature before initiating the assay. The kit is configured for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic procedures.

Typical applications include cytokine profiling in autoimmune disease research, bone resorption studies, oncology investigations of tumor-associated macrophage infiltration, and neuroscience studies of microglial development. Compatible with standard microplate readers used in routine ELISA workflows.
