Human Interleukin 3 (IL-3) ELISA Kit

Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a 17 kDa hematopoietic cytokine secreted primarily by activated T lymphocytes, mast cells and eosinophils. It signals through the CD123 receptor complex to drive proliferation and differentiation of myeloid progenitors, basophils and mast cells, placing it at the centre of research into allergic inflammation, leukemia biology and bone-marrow regulation.

The Assay Genie kit uses a human-specific capture antibody pre-immobilised on a strip microplate, calibrated against native recombinant human IL-3, with no significant cross-reactivity reported for closely related cytokines such as IL-5 and GM-CSF. Reagents include lyophilised standards, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP working solution, wash concentrate, TMB substrate and stop solution; bring all components to room temperature before running the assay and store unused reagents refrigerated to preserve activity.

The assay is intended for in vitro research use only and is compatible with cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate and lysate workflows in laboratory specimens.
