Human Interleukin 26 (IL-26) ELISA Kit

A pro-inflammatory member of the IL-10 cytokine family, Interleukin 26 (IL-26) was originally identified as AK155 and is secreted primarily by Th17 cells, natural killer cells, and alveolar macrophages. This dedicated ELISA reagent from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human IL-26 in research-derived samples.

IL-26 signaling has been investigated in mucosal immunity, host defense against viral and bacterial pathogens, and chronic inflammatory conditions including rheumatoid arthritis synovitis, psoriatic skin lesions, inflammatory bowel disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The cytokine is increasingly studied as a biomarker of immune activation across epithelial and mucosal compartments.
