Interleukin-20 (IL-20) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine of the IL-10 family, first characterized in 2001, that activates JAK-STAT signaling, particularly STAT3 phosphorylation, through IL-20R1/IL-20R2 and IL-22R1/IL-20R2 receptor complexes. This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative detection of IL-20 in human-derived specimens for research into psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory skin disorders, where elevated IL-20 expression by keratinocytes, monocytes, and dendritic cells has been documented. Standards and concentrated reagents should be stored at -20°C, while the microplate strip components remain stable refrigerated for the duration of the stated shelf life; repeated freeze-thaw cycles of reconstituted material should be avoided.
