Human Interleukin 1 Eta (IL-1h) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Interleukin-1 eta (IL-1η, also known as IL-1F1) ELISA provides quantitative in vitro measurement of this under-characterized member of the IL-1 cytokine family. Researchers apply it to profile inflammatory signaling, screen conditioned media from cultured cells, and quantify endogenous IL-1η release in response to cellular stimuli.

The microplate arrives pre-coated with a monoclonal capture antibody raised against recombinant human IL-1η. The kit includes a lyophilized protein standard, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, and wash buffer sufficient for the full plate of wells in a single run. A standard curve generated from serially diluted recombinant protein enables interpolation of unknown concentrations, and assay precision is supported by running duplicates or triplicates of each sample. Reconstituted standards should be stored frozen and aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.

Typical workflow: add 100 µL per well of standards and each diluted sample to the pre-coated wells, incubate, wash, add the biotinylated detection reagent, wash again, add streptavidin-HRP, develop with substrate, stop the reaction, and read absorbance. The TMB-based enzymatic step produces a measurable signal proportional to IL-1η bound in each well.
