Human Interleukin 1 Alpha (IL-1a) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie IL-1α kit quantifies human Interleukin-1 alpha, a key pro-inflammatory cytokine released by macrophages, monocytes, and epithelial cells during infection, autoimmune disease, and tissue damage. It supports studies in inflammation biology, sepsis models, oncology, and wound healing research.

The microplate is pre-coated with a human-specific capture antibody, paired with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP for an enzyme-based signal readout.

Supplied reagents include a pre-coated strip plate, lyophilized recombinant IL-1α standard, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, substrate and stop solutions, and sample diluent. Reconstituted standards and streptavidin-HRP should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw loss; the sealed plate and other liquid components remain stable refrigerated.
