Human Interferon-induced 35 kDa protein (IFI35) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich-format ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Interferon-induced 35 kDa protein (IFI35). The assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human IFI35. The reported detection range is 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL. Precision figures are an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and an inter-assay CV of 10.8%, and recovery has been measured at 88% (range 82–94%) for serum and 90% (range 84–96%) for plasma.

Kit components include an ELISA microplate (8×12 strips), lyophilized standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealers, with component-specific storage temperatures detailed in the kit documentation. IFI35 is reported as a homodimer that also interacts with B-ATF and localises to the nucleus following IFN treatment; the human ortholog maps to chromosomal location 17q21 (UniProt P80217).
