Human Interferon epsilon/IFNE ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantification of Human Interferon Epsilon (IFNE) levels. It detects natural and recombinant human Interferon epsilon using a colorimetric detection method, and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids (UniProt Q86WN2).

The kit has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.15ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 3.2% and an inter-assay CV of 6.5%. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma ranges from 91-126% across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Average recovery is 114% (range 108-120%) for serum and 116% (range 110-120%) for plasma.

Interferon Epsilon is a Type I interferon required for maintaining basal levels of IFN-regulated genes, including 2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase, IRF7 and ISG15, in the female reproductive tract, and directly mediates protection against viral and bacterial genital infections. The kit is intended for research use only.
