Human Interferon epsilon (IFNE) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human interferon epsilon (IFNE) levels. Interferon epsilon is a type I interferon required for maintaining basal levels of IFN-regulated genes in the female reproductive tract and is involved in antiviral defense and immune modulation, with dysregulation implicated in autoimmune disorders and infectious diseases.

Validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate, cell or tissue lysate, and other biological fluids, the kit uses colorimetric detection with a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is 9.375 pg/mL over a range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL, with another format reporting sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL over 0.312–20 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV of 3.2% and inter-assay CV of 6.5% have been reported.

Linearity for serum at 1:2 dilution has been reported as 88–103%, and recovery in serum as 87–105% with an average of 95%. For research use only.
