Human Interferon Beta (IFNb) ELISA Kit

Interferon beta (IFN-β) is a type I interferon cytokine induced during viral infection that signals through the JAK/STAT pathway to establish an antiviral cellular state, and is a frequent biomarker in multiple sclerosis research, viral pathogenesis studies, and innate immunity investigations.

This Assay Genie kit uses a pre-coated capture antibody on a strip-well microplate to bind IFN-β from prepared samples, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate for absorbance-based readout. Stop solution is added before plate measurement.

The standard curve delivers a detection range of 31.2 to 2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of less than 18.75 pg/mL, using 100 uL of standard, control, or sample per well. Reagents should be equilibrated to room temperature before use; reconstituted standards and antibody vials are stored at 2 to 8 °C, and the kit should be protected from light. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles of prepared samples should be avoided by aliquoting.
