Human Interferon alpha-inducible protein 6 (IFI6) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie developed for the quantitative measurement of human Interferon alpha-inducible protein 6 (IFI6). The assay is intended for use with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human IFI6. The target protein (UniProt P09912) is a multi-pass membrane protein implicated in the regulation of apoptosis and in the innate immune response to interferon alpha.

Manufacturer-reported performance figures include a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.9 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is given as 4.6% CV and inter-assay precision as 8.3% CV. Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16: serum (n=5) returned 96-126% across dilutions, EDTA plasma (n=5) returned 80-120%, and heparin plasma (n=5) returned 80-125%. Spike-recovery averaged 104% from serum (range 98-110%) and 106% from plasma (range 100-112%). The kit is listed under the cancer research area and is supplied for research use only.

Storage conditions differ by component, with the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard and several diluents stored at -20°C, while the wash buffer, substrate and stop solution are stored at 4°C. Plate sealers are also provided.
