Human Interferon Alpha (IFNa) ELISA Kit

Interferon alpha (IFN-α) is a type I cytokine secreted by leukocytes and other cell types during viral infection, where it coordinates innate antiviral responses and modulates cell growth and differentiation. The Assay Genie IFN-α kit provides quantitative measurement of this cytokine across human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants.

Each kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP reagents, calibrated standards, and substrate solution for colorimetric readout. The reported detection range spans 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity below 5 pg/mL, and the protocol requires a 100 uL sample volume per well. Unopened components should be refrigerated and remain stable through the printed shelf life when aliquoted and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
