Human Interferon alpha/beta receptor 2/IFNAR2 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Interferon alpha/beta receptor 2 (IFNAR2). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, validated for serum and plasma. It is intended for immunology research, where IFNAR2 serves as a key component of the type I interferon receptor, associating with IFNAR1 to mediate responses to interferons alpha and beta through STAT1, STAT2 and STAT3 activation.

Validated performance characteristics include a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.79ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at 4.2% CV and inter-assay precision at 6.3% CV. Linearity has been assessed in serum (80-123%), EDTA plasma (92-120%) and heparin plasma (81-118%) across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16. Recovery averages 92% in serum (range 86-98%) and 94% in plasma (range 88-100%). The kit detects natural and recombinant human IFNAR2 and is supplied with components including a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer.
