Human Intercellular adhesion molecule 3/ICAM3 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie that uses colorimetric detection for the quantitative measurement of human Intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (ICAM-3) in research samples. ICAM-3 is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule family and functions as a key ligand for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 (integrin alpha-L/beta-2), contributing to leukocyte adhesion, migration, and the initiation of immune responses. The kit is suited to studies of immune function, inflammatory responses, and related disorders.

The assay reacts with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, with specificity for both natural and recombinant human ICAM-3. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 39.7 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.2%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.1%. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with average recovery of 88% for serum and 90% for plasma.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
