Human Intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 1 (ICAM-1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. ICAM-1 is a cell surface glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and migration, particularly in inflammatory processes and immune responses, and abnormal levels of ICAM-1 have been associated with autoimmune disorders, atherosclerosis and inflammatory conditions.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 62.5-4000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Recovery is documented at an average of 97% (range 91-103%) for serum and 99% (range 93-105%) for plasma, and the kit is specific for natural and recombinant human ICAM-1.
