Human Inter-alpha-trypsin inhibitor heavy chain H3 (ITIH3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Inter-alpha-trypsin inhibitor heavy chain H3 (ITIH3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human ITIH3 and uses a colorimetric detection method.

ITIH3 is a secreted serine-type endopeptidase inhibitor involved in hyaluronan metabolic processes and extracellular matrix stabilization. Dysregulation of the protein has been linked to cancer, liver diseases and inflammatory disorders, making it a useful biomarker for studies of these conditions and for potential therapeutic research.

The kit has a reported detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.19 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.9% and inter-assay CV is 11.7%. Spike-and-recovery averages 88% in serum (range 82–94%) and 90% in plasma (range 84–96%). Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16. The product is supplied for research use only.
