The Assay Genie Human Integrin beta 2/CD18 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay developed for researchers studying leukocyte adhesion biology, innate immune signaling, and inflammatory disease models. Integrin beta 2 (also known as CD18) is the common β-subunit of the β2 integrin family, pairing with CD11a, CD11b, or CD11c to form LFA-1, Mac-1, and p150,95 heterodimers expressed on neutrophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes. Soluble CD18 levels and changes in surface expression are actively investigated in sepsis, ischemia-reperfusion injury, autoimmune disorders, and leukocyte adhesion deficiency type I (LAD-I).
