Human Integrin alpha-L (ITGAL) ELISA Kit

The assay reacts with natural and recombinant human Integrin alpha-L and uses a colorimetric detection method.

Integrin alpha-L, also known as CD11a, LFA-1A, CD11 antigen-like family member A, leukocyte adhesion glycoprotein LFA-1 alpha chain and leukocyte function-associated molecule 1 alpha chain, is a key protein involved in cellular adhesion and migration. The integrin alpha-L/beta-2 heterodimer functions as a receptor for ICAM1, ICAM2, ICAM3 and ICAM4, and contributes to leukocyte-endothelial cell interaction, cytotoxic T-cell mediated killing, and natural killer cell cytotoxicity. Dysregulation of Integrin alpha-L has been linked to autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker within the cancer research area. Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.2 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Spike-and-recovery is 100% (94–106%) for serum and 102% (96–108%) for plasma. For research use only.
