Human Integrin Alpha 1 (ITGa1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Integrin Alpha 1 (ITGa1) ELISA Kit quantifies ITGA1 protein in tissue homogenates and cell lysates. Integrin Alpha 1, also known as CD49a or the alpha subunit of Very Late Antigen-1 (VLA-1), pairs with Integrin Beta 1 to form a collagen-binding heterodimer that mediates cell-matrix adhesion, fibroblast proliferation and immune cell migration. The kit employs monoclonal antibodies specific to human ITGA1, allowing reproducible measurement of endogenous receptor levels in cell-based and tissue-based experimental systems. It is commonly used to investigate fibrosis, wound healing, inflammatory signalling and tumor-stroma interactions. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, assay buffer, detection antibody, recombinant standard and stop solution; reagents should be stored refrigerated and protected from light.
