Human Insulin receptor (INSR) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Insulin receptor (INSR) in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Specific to natural and recombinant human Insulin receptor, the kit demonstrates a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.061ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 10.4%. Recovery rates are provided at 97% (range 91-103%) for serum and 99% (range 93-105%) for plasma, with linearity data established across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Intended for research use only, the kit supports cardiovascular research applications. The target, also known by the synonyms CD220 and IR, is a receptor tyrosine kinase localised at the cell membrane as a single-pass type I membrane protein.
