Human Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 4 (IGFBP4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 4 (IGFBP4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and detects natural and recombinant human IGFBP4, with a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.11ng/mL.

Reported performance characteristics include an intra-assay CV of 4.6% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 101% (range 95-107%) in serum and 103% (range 97-109%) in plasma, and linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

IGFBP4 is a secreted protein that binds IGF2 more than IGF1 and is mapped to chromosomal region 17q21.2 (UniProt P22692). The kit is intended for research use only, supporting work in cancer and related areas where IGF-binding protein biology is of interest.
