The colorimetric assay detects human IGFBP2 with specificity for both natural and recombinant forms of the target.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 32pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.6% and inter-assay CV is 8.5%. Linearity testing across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 demonstrates consistent performance, with serum ranging from 87-111%, EDTA plasma from 90-115% and heparin plasma from 82-107%. Average recovery is 103% in serum (range 97-109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99-111%). The assay is read at 450 nm.
