Human INSC ELISA Kit (HUFI03822)

This enzyme immunoassay from Assay Genie quantifies human Inscuteable (INSC), a cytoplasmic adapter protein central to mitotic spindle orientation during asymmetric division of neural progenitors. By binding Partner of Inscuteable (PINS) and the Par3-Par6-aPKC polarity complex, INSC couples cell-polarity cues to spindle positioning machinery, and altered expression has been reported in glioblastoma and other dividing-cell tumor contexts.

Configured as a 96 Assays research-use-only kit, the assay supports workflows in cell fate determination, neural stem cell biology, and tumor cell polarity. The plate-based colorimetric readout is captured on a standard microplate reader, and the included reagents allow quantitative comparison of INSC levels across experimental conditions, including studies of progenitor self-renewal, neurogenesis, and cytoskeletal organization during mitosis.
