The Human Inhibin-B PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a competitive binding immunoassay for quantitative measurement of inhibin B, a dimeric glycoprotein hormone secreted by testicular Sertoli cells and ovarian granulosa cells. Inhibin B serves as a key biomarker in reproductive endocrinology research, frequently investigated in studies on male fertility, spermatogenesis, ovarian reserve, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and pubertal maturation.

This competitive ELISA format delivers a quantitative readout using horseradish peroxidase-TMB chemistry. A 50 µL sample volume per well is sufficient. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity reported against related TGF-β family members such as activin A or follistatin, allowing selective measurement of bioactive inhibin B in serum and cell culture supernatant matrices.
