Human Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. The assay is reactive with human samples and detects both natural and recombinant human IDO1, a monomeric heme enzyme encoded at chromosomal location 8p12-p11 with a molecular weight of 45kDa (UniProt P14902). IDO1 catalyses the first and rate-limiting step of tryptophan catabolism along the kynurenine pathway and is a key regulator of peripheral immune tolerance, suppressing anti-tumor immunity and contributing to disease mechanisms in cancer, autoimmune disorders and chronic infections, supporting a wide range of cell biology and biomedical research applications.

The kit provides a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.78ng/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.1%. Spike-and-recovery performance is documented at an average of 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma.
