Human Importin subunit alpha-2 (KPNA2) ELISA Kit

The colorimetric assay is reactive with human samples and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It detects KPNA2 across a range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.21ng/mL, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Importin subunit alpha-1. KPNA2 functions as an adapter for nuclear receptor KPNB1 in nucleocytoplasmic transport, binding substrates carrying simple or bipartite NLS motifs and docking the importin/substrate complex at the nuclear pore.
