Human IMPA2/Inositol monophosphatase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Inositol monophosphatase 2 (IMPA2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with natural and recombinant human IMPA2.

The kit delivers a detection range of 62.5-4000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 37 pg/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 6.1% and inter-assay CV is 10.6%. Spike-and-recovery performance is documented at an average of 100% (range 94-106%) for serum and 102% (range 96-108%) for plasma. Linearity has been validated across dilution series for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.

IMPA2 is a homodimeric 31 kDa phosphatase (UniProt O14732; chromosomal locus 18p11.21; NCBI Gene ID: 3613) participating in inositol metabolic processes, inositol phosphate dephosphorylation, inositol phosphate metabolism, phosphate metabolism and signal transduction. It has been implicated as a pharmacological target for lithium action in brain, and the Cardiovascular research area is indicated for this reagent. For research use only.
