Human Immunoglobulin J chain (IGJ) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of Immunoglobulin J chain (IGJ) in human samples. Reported performance includes a detection range of 1.56-100ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.56ng/mL, using a colorimetric ELISA detection method.

IGJ is a secreted polypeptide that links two monomer units of either IgM or IgA; the J chain-joined dimer nucleates the IgM pentamer, while in IgA it induces larger polymers, and it also helps bind these immunoglobulins to secretory component. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human Immunoglobulin J chain and is for research use only.
