Human IL7 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Interleukin 7 (IL-7), also referred to as Pre-B-cell Growth Factor or Lymphopoietin-1. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.

The microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to human IL7, and detection is achieved with a biotin-conjugated antibody and streptavidin-HRP using TMB substrate. The reaction is terminated with a sulphuric acid stop reagent and the absorbance is read spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 10 nm. Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 5.8 pg/mL, a measuring range of 15.63–1000 pg/mL, a 1000 pg/mL standard, and an assay length of 3.5 hours. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV% < 8% and inter-assay precision as CV% < 10%. Recovery averages 89% in serum (range 83–95%), 86% in EDTA plasma (range 80–92%) and 91% in heparin plasma (range 85–97%). Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 ranges from 85–98% in serum, 81–102% in EDTA plasma and 79–105% in heparin plasma.
