Human IL2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the detection of human IL-2 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant samples, using a colorimetric detection method. The kit is developed with the pharmaceutical and biotech research sectors in mind, and reagents are validated according to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems.

Performance specifications include an assay range of 31.2 pg/ml – 1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 10 pg/ml, with a sample size of 100 µl and an incubation time of 1h50. The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human IL-2, with no cross-reactivity against other human cytokines tested. Cross-reactivity with simian IL-2 has been reported. Calibration is against NIBSC standard, and detection relies on a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair together with a purified recombinant protein standard to generate the standard curve.

Each PharmaGenie ELISA Kit contains pre-coated strip plates, a biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls where applicable, buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB, stop reagents and a detailed procedure. For research use only.
