Human IL12 p40 + p70 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie PharmaGenie ELISA Kit is designed for the detection of human IL-12 p40 + p70 across a range of sample types including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant. Using a sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, the kit features a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair and a purified recombinant protein standard for specific and sensitive analyte detection. The assay range spans 62.5 pg/ml to 2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 20 pg/ml, requiring 100 µl of sample and an incubation time of 1h45.

The assay recognises the p40 monomer, dimer, or heterodimer (p40 + p35) forms of IL-12 and detects both natural and recombinant antigen. Standards are calibrated to NIBSC. No cross-reactivity has been observed with other human cytokines, though the assay does cross-react with feline and canine IL-12 p40. All reagents have been validated to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems.

Developed with pharmaceutical and biotech research in mind, the kit includes pre-coated strip plates, a biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls, buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB, stop reagents, and a detailed procedure.
