Human IL1 beta PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie detects human IL-1 beta using a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair and a purified recombinant protein standard, with reagents validated under ISO 9001:2000 quality systems. The assay recognises both natural (pro and mature) and recombinant human IL-1 beta, with no cross-reactivity reported against other human cytokines tested. Standard calibration is to NIBSC.

Validated sample matrices include serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant. The standard curve spans 15.6 pg/ml to 500 pg/ml, with a reported sensitivity of 6.5 pg/ml. Each reaction uses a 100 µl sample volume and the incubation protocol runs 3 hours 45 minutes. Detection is colorimetric via streptavidin-HRP and TMB on pre-coated strip plates.

Reagents supplied are pre-coated strip plates, biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls where applicable, buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB, stop solution, and a detailed protocol. Storage is +20°C and kits are shipped at +4°C.
