Human IL-7R/IL-7 receptor alpha ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative detection of human IL-7R (Interleukin-7 receptor subunit alpha, UniProt P16871) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, using a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm. The kit targets IL-7R, also referred to as CD127, IL7RA, IL-7R-alpha, CDW127, and CD127 antigen.

According to the manufacturer's specification for this SKU, the assay has a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Linearity has been validated across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (83–101%), EDTA plasma (85–103%) and heparin plasma (85–103%). Recovery averages are 93% for serum (range 87–102%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 87–103%) and 92% for heparin plasma (range 88–105%).

The protocol involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation, and TMB development for 10–20 minutes in the dark before stop solution is added and absorbance read at 450 nm. Unopened components are stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months, with standards and the microplate additionally suitable for 12 months at −20 °C. The kit is for research use only.
