The Assay Genie PharmaGenie ELISA platform supports translational and pharmaceutical research programs that need quantitative measurement of human IL-7 receptor alpha (CD127) in clinical and experimental samples. This kit enables reproducible detection of soluble CD127 in human plasma, serum specimens, and cell culture supernatant samples collected from in vitro experiments.

CD127 is the alpha chain of the heterodimeric IL-7 receptor and serves as a defining surface marker of naive and central memory T cell populations. Downregulation of CD127 accompanies TCR engagement and effector differentiation, making quantitative CD127 measurements useful for studies of immune activation, exhaustion, and recovery. In HIV research, persistent immune activation reduces IL-7 receptor alpha expression on circulating T cells, and CD127 is tracked as a biomarker of immune reconstitution during antiretroviral therapy. Cancer immunology groups use CD127 readouts to characterize T cell fitness in the tumor microenvironment and to monitor CAR-T cell persistence, where sustained IL-7R alpha signaling correlates with long-term anti-tumor activity. The marker also supports vaccine immunogenicity work, where CD127 expression distinguishes long-lived memory T cell populations from short-lived effectors.

Reagents are supplied in a 96-assay configuration suited to screening workflows. The absorbance-based read-out is compatible with standard microplate instrumentation. For research use only, the kit should be stored refrigerated upon arrival, and components equilibrated to room temperature before running the assay. The protocol is optimized to minimize matrix effects across the supported human sample types and delivers consistent standard curves across the working range.
